Even the school going children are being adversely affected by competition & thus are under an immense pressure to succeed. Exams have become like a battle for the children today. They want to win every battle so that they can be victorious in every field of life.
As Class X students all over India are getting prepared to face the approaching Board Demon for the first time, they are surrounded by fear anxiety & immense psychological pressure. They don’t know what boards are like & the fear of facing the Boards for the first time leads to a lot of anxiety.
To ease the students of this pressure various organizations are doing their bit, for example there are Help lines by NGOs where the students can call & discuss their problems that occur due to exam related anxiety. But more than this the students need to get a feel of what board exams are like. This will help in removing the misconceptions they have about BOARDS, because these misconceptions make them even more fearful. With this basic aim of reducing the anxiety & stress of the students,PIE Education, the leading training institute for IIT-JEE had organized a Rehearsal Test for Class X students, in two subjects - Mathematics & Science, absolutely free of cost. This test was conducted at various centres all over India and was completely based on the pattern of the respective boards. REHEARSAL TEST gave the students a feel of what Board exams are like by testing them under similar conditions, it will also help them to get an early feedback on their preparation by testing them & then providing them their results along with the solutions
This year the syllabus of the Boards like CBSE have also been changed & practicing for the Boards from the earlier years’ papers will not be of much help to the students. The highly experienced faculty of PIE EDUCATION had designed the question papers of this REHEARSAL TEST, strictly on the new pattern of the respective boards
Usually Pre Boards in schools are held around mid-January & their results come around the end of January. This leaves the students with very little time to improve themselves if they don’t perform well & so they get even more tensed if they don’t perform well. The fact that this test is conducted in 2nd week of December, i.e. about two to three months before boards, made it even more beneficial for the students as they will get time to improve themselves. Not only this, another advantage of this test is that an independent institution will assess the students as it is in Boards.
A lot of parents have appreciated this initiative. The phenomenal response received from students, parents & even schools goes to prove the importance of this test.
This REHEARSAL TEST was organised not only for CBSE students but also for students of other boards like ICSE.
